I still wear the uniform as part of my new job, and I still have to watch what I eat. I have not noticed it getting worse, but this has always been an issue near and dear to my heart.Response by COL Charles Williams made Jul 16 at 2015 9:14 AM2015-07-16T09:14:19-04:002015-07-16T09:14:19-04:00COL Jean (John) F. As the traditions, values, and morals of society continue to deteriorate, so will they in the military.

Yes, I am concerned about it and think the leadership, at all levels, should do what is necessary to get it back on the right path. Is that likely to happen? Unlikely, because, as I stated, the deterioration in the military is a reflection of society as a whole. What is happening in the military is not surprising. What could one expect from all the liberal social engineering that has been going on?Response by COL Jean (John) F. People don't take as much pride while wearing the uniform or even just being in the military for that matter in my shop. They don't care. I do feel like it's kind of a leadership problem maybe too. You don't see any of the higher ups looking like trash.. but they don't always say something to a newer airman or anyone when they aren't looking professional. I see it all day especially out on the flightline.Response by TSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 16 at 2015 10:10 AM2015-07-16T10:10:07-04:002015-07-16T10:10:07-04:00MSgt David Haupt819365

I started being concern with the implementation of the no iron uniform and no shine boots. We have lost a lot of the basic pride and discipline being tossed for laziness. Bring back the Ironing and shinning of boots. This trend some of the down fall of basic moral and pride in what we do. Basic Discipline!!! Stop babying the troops and turn Basic training back into the molding process of before. Yes I mean the yelling and swearing.Response by MSgt David Haupt made Jul 16 at 2015 10:51 AM2015-07-16T10:51:12-04:002015-07-16T10:51:12-04:002015-07-16T08:45:37-04:00
