Are you an investor; do you like to see dreams deliver Excellence and satisfaction? 2021-03-08T04:52:06-05:00 CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana 6804875

Gamification of Business Processes

Concept Note

Situation: Gamify Organizational Resilience (OR)

Overview

Training is a tool for stakeholders to hone their skill sets within their individual and collective areas of responsibilities. Hands-on training and On-the-Job Training (OJT) are two best ways in which skills are ingrained. Making the training fun by gamification of the development process mentally invites better conceptualization, strategy building, options definitions and selection to the delivery of the desired results. The gamification demands inclusion and integration of the selected teams, without which the desired results cannot be achieved.

Using OR as the business function of choice to begin, teams are formed and the OR game is online. Each team member has a role to play and each team has an objective to achieve. The desired objective is the collective achievements of the teams. There are several stages in the game, alike to a simulation exercise.

Requirements

Research has been completed; this product is unique. It is the desire to innovate this creative dream by engaging talent of the design and development expertise, so we can build a prototype simulation exercise. This desire to build, test, develop, retest and deliver such a product requires investment. Therefore, it is a humble request for guidance in this direction or an alternative drive that sustains the essence of this dream.

Feature Statement (feature becomes a benefit)

Akin to innovation labs; if the initial prototype is not of the desired level, the team shall have the capacity to change, alter, correct and amend the simulation to desired standards. Failure is acceptable and correctable as well, yet the desired results in this simulation shall be achieved. Technical Talent for this dream is paramount to realizing the desired outcome.

Basic Intent (Why Simulate?)

The basic intent is to create simulation exercises for each business process as a plug and play or as a single, yet integrated loaded software training module. The dream is that eventually the entire business activity, tactical, technical and strategic, will be available as a single program that management can use as training and/or as a testing platform. During simulations, I scored much higher and retained almost all the skill sets I engaged in; the exercise was a boat load of fun and the best training I ever received.

Is this interesting?
