Are you allowed to go AGR and retire if you take the RCP money?

SGT Branch, if the rules have not changed, yes you can go AGR even though you took the RCP money. Here is the catch. You will have to pay the RCP money back when you do retire. It happened to me. It took me three years to pay it back. I retired back in 2007. I would say go talk to a recruiter or even a MILPER clerk to find the answer.

If you are RCP from Active Duty you are not going to be able to come into the AGR program. You are able to come as a Reserve TPU status. But I think when you start to recive your retire pay at what ever age you will have to pay that back. I am on AGR and will follow the same guideline for the RCP time lines that the Active Duty does.

Yes you can but be prepared to pay back the RCP payment.
