Chang, ChFC®, CLU®72744<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I absolutely agree, we are so concerned with what is going on now, that we forget what has happened in the past.<div><br></div><div>Movies like Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan briefly brought them to the forefront, but unfortunately it hasn't lasted as long.</div><div><br></div><div>One thing however is that now there is more respect for the military then there was in Vietnam, so for that I am grateful, but I do hope that we never forget the greatest generation and that we always remember them for what they did.</div><div><br></div><div>Our Labor and Memorial Day are thankfully days that we can honor them. </div>Response by LTC David S. If I'm not on a call for service, I always make sure to shake their hand and ask about their former unit(s) and deployments.
