Put your heart into it. Yeah, it will suck at first, but it gets better at graduation day, and then the suck will be replaced with pride. Realistically speaking, it's 3 months away, so things could change between now and then. You won't know for certain until a couple weeks before graduation. Interestingly enough, my report date was 10 May, 1990 at Fort Leonard Wood, A/5-10. Good luck.Response by SFC Melvin Brandenburg made Apr 5 at 2021 11:42 AM2021-04-05T11:42:10-04:002021-04-05T11:42:10-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6879958<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your Drill Sergeants should be the ones who could answer that for you when you get there.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 5 at 2021 4:44 PM2021-04-05T16:44:17-04:002021-04-05T16:44:17-04:00CSM Darieus ZaGara6880110<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It is situational. As one example, Fort Jackson does not allow in person attendance for graduation as of April 2021. It may be different at another post (e.g. Fort Benning, Fort Leonard Wood, etc.)<br /><a target="_blank" href="https://home.army.mil/jackson/index.php/my-fort/basic-combat-training/graduation-information">https://home.army.mil/jackson/index.php/my-fort/basic-combat-training/graduation-information</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default">

Soldiers about to graduate were given the chance to tell family when and where to be in order to attend graduations and public ceremonies. <br /><br />Now with Covid? That is going to be up to your chain of command going from your DS all the way to base commander. Show up at training, stick it out for the duration, and eventually you will get word on whether or not it can happen. I have seen news of public and private ceremonies happening since Covid started so be prepared to accept either.Response by SPC Casey Ashfield made Apr 5 at 2021 11:25 PM2021-04-05T23:25:20-04:002021-04-05T23:25:20-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member6880805<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You will certainly find out when you get to Basic Training. Since you didn't say what base you're going to, that's the best answer I can giveResponse by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 6 at 2021 12:40 AM2021-04-06T00:40:59-04:002021-04-06T00:40:59-04:00SFC Kelly Fuerhoff6882002<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You'll find out when it's time for you to graduate. If you leave 10 May - basic is what 10, 11 weeks for the Army? So it depends on what's going on by end of July. It also depends on if you make it. Not saying you won't - just knowing some people do, some don't. Anything could happen. I'd worry about graduation when the time comes.Response by SFC Kelly Fuerhoff made Apr 6 at 2021 1:29 PM2021-04-06T13:29:24-04:002021-04-06T13:29:24-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member6883205<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>At the moment all graduations are virtual. It will depend on what Training and Doctrine Command says at the time of the graduation. I am CPT and at my recent graduation from my course it was all virtual. The issue is that bases do not want to bring people into bases that can spread covid.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 7 at 2021 12:13 AM2021-04-07T00:13:39-04:002021-04-07T00:13:39-04:002021-04-05T10:55:40-04:00
