I ran into the same issue using my P911 bill for undergraduate at a very expensive school. My remaining tuition after GI bill is around $9,000. I utilized a FAFSA grant as well as 2 FAFSA loans (unfortunately).

You are going to want to focus on scholarships. This website https://www.gograd.org/financial-aid/scholarships/military-veterans/ has a quick reference to some, but really there are millions out there to sift through, you just need to find one that is a good fit for you.

There are some government grants that you may apply for but that would depend on your state of residence and the state your school is in.

This is another good place to search for scholarships that you could use. https://www.careeronestop.org/toolkit/training/find-scholarships.aspx

If your service was before 9/11, you might find it hard to find military-focused scholarships for which you meet the requirements. I would recommend, basing your search on your graduate program and looking for scholarships for helping women get into professional careers. There are many foundation scholarships that focus on these two attributes.

I am obtaining my Doctorate, I have been a TA for a year, also have applied for scholarships. Because I was in the Guard I had Wisconsin GI bill, and the Post 9/11 GI Bill. I am getting it all covered, with the GI bill and my own work obtaining scholarships. Don't give up. I also believe if you have over a 30% service connection you may qualify for Vocational Rehabilitation.
