Are there Conservative comedians?

I listen to stand-up comedy on Amazon Prime radio, and I have my favorites. Brian Regan, Gabriel Iglesias, Jim Gaffigan, Tom Segua, John Mulaney, etc.

I remember having a discussion about comedians, and I had said something along the lines of "Conservatives aren't funny." Does anyone know of any good, Conservative comedians? The general rule of good comedy is, "never punch down."

I have no idea what certain comedians political affiliations are (I don't watch much stand-up).

Maybe Joe Rogan (I've seen some funny clips from his shows). I imagine most of the blue collar comedy guys are conservative and I think Ron White was always funny. Saw a fairly recent clip from Jeff Dunham about Hillary that would lead me to believe he is conservative and his stand-up shows were always pretty good.

There around but the liberal media doesn't make it easy for them to see mainstream...Joe Rogan, Jeff foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy to name a few. Netflix is a good sure to catch some conservative comedy. Also, Adam Corolla had a great rant on the new nanny state in millinial political s, but I think most of his belief's trend more towards Libertarian. Hope that helps...

Dennis Miller used to be and Jeff Fox worthy Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Dunham. My favorite comedian was left as left can be. George Carlin, but funny is funny

It's not that Conservatives aren't or can't be funny; there's clearly examples of those that are. It's that a major share of conservative-leaning humor is of a "punching down" nature, which to many people's consciences comes across as cruel and demeaning rather than funny, while liberal-leaning humor tends to be of a "punching up" nature that doesn't have that problem. The conservative humor that most agree is funny tends to be the stuff that isn't at the expense of marginalized and minority groups, which explains the popularity of Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy.

its interesting How so many folks in the big Cities(17% of the US land) think they speak and want to tell the rest of the Country (83% of the US lands) what to do...
The comedians will do anything for ratings and to push their products...

As for conservative? I can add nothing that has not already been stated, but I find Ricky Gervais (a Brit) to be funny as hell. His special called "Animals" in particular.

It's not the we need to listen to conservative comedians ...it just sickens me to hear people bash the POTUS continually and disrespect America (while not being funny )I love John Mulaney ..he is def democrat ..but why do we need to know if the jokes are funny ? Marc Maron :too real (Netflix ) is hysterical ..pretty sure he makes fun of republicans and democrats ..But tasteful .I used to love Jimmy Kimmel ..I can't Evan watch it for a second anymore ..or any other late night tv .Poor Jimmy Falan wanted to bring comedy back to late night and get rid of constant politics ..and he almost lost his job ..because he was civil to Pres Trump in an interview .After that he had to mock and say terrible things ..just to stay part of the Hollywood club and keep his job .

Check out Compound Media...it’s Anthony Cumia’s of Opie and Anthony’s podcast network...most of the comedians that have show are right leaning, or at the very least not PC

The media has become so biased that anything remotely Conservative gets either deliberately ignored or shot down for not measuring up to their idea of what's funny.

Ron White is fantastic as a Conservative comedian. His material, especially about Texas putting the inmates on death row in an "express lane" is the sort of stuff liberals literally have meltdowns over.

If you haven't watched them yet, there is a trio of Blue Collar Comedy Tour shows that include Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White and Bill Engvall. And the more recent clip from Ron White (2016 I think) is priceless. That guy is about as politically incorrect as it gets.
