Duffleblog? Quit dragging your feet and get after it, life is what you make it. This may be close to what the other WO's are thinking, they just didn't want to respond to such a question.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 17 at 2018 3:48 PM2018-01-17T15:48:26-05:002018-01-17T15:48:26-05:00CW5 Private RallyPoint Member3267288<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Best thing I did in my career. I have met officers who went back and became WO's. I can't recall meeting a WO who regretted doing it. You are in a very small circle, that makes you unique (not elite, there is a difference). The respect shown a WO, is different from that of a O-1 or O-2. You get to lead, be a technical expert, often times you may become a Platoon leader or Senior advisor in a given field. If you are expecting to just work as technician in a back closet somewhere, that is not the case.Response by CW3 Kevin Storm made Jan 17 at 2018 6:11 PM2018-01-17T18:11:04-05:002018-01-17T18:11:04-05:00LTC Erik Spike Thiesmeyer, Sr.3268260<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was an Aviation Warrant Officer for nine years and it was a blast! I got to be the cool, professional aviator, and while I did miss my commissioned officer paycheck, I didn't miss the responsibilities and headaches of leadership positions. If you qualify, go for it!!Response by LTC Erik Spike Thiesmeyer, Sr. made Jan 18 at 2018 12:51 AM2018-01-18T00:51:11-05:002018-01-18T00:51:11-05:002018-01-17T11:16:17-05:00
