I looked at your profile and you have a ton of questions that are best suited for a recruiter. I don't know if you haven't done that yet but go speak to recruiters from the branches you are interested in and see what they have to show you. Ask questions and leave no stone unturned. Rally Point is a vast well of knowledge but you need a baseline to start with to see what your questions down the road are.

There are not any positions I wouldn't recommend. All positions are based solely on you as a Soldier, if you can set your mind and body to it then you can do it.

I will say you will face some scorn depending on your attitude. If you try and act like a tease to get guys to carry your ruck, you'll find that idiot boot who will carry it for you. You will also find a bunch of Soldiers that have just judged you for the remainder of your time in that unit.

I've also met female leadership that punish their female Soldiers for trying to engage in such activities, and have met some incredibly hardcore females in my limited time.

You are limited by yourself, pick something that interests you and run with it.

I wouldn't recommend taking an MOS which is over 90 percent male. Those MOS's - usually combat arms or combat support - tend to have a "macho" mindset and women are less likely to be welcome. On the other hand, if there is a job that you really want to do - don't let the sexist knuckle draggers keep you from doing it.
