If they’re not allowed then said NCO needs to show you where it states that oscillating fad aren’t allowed. This quality of leadership provides professional growth for you and for said NCO. Senior person does not like it and tells you to take it out or point it in a new direction... then you do it. YOU get to listen. IF you are the senior, you can set the fan. This is not the most important issue in US GOV or military. Reduce heat load
a. The practice of designating and equipping sites for deliberate cooling and rest (“cool zones”) is recommended for reducing the heat effects of Soldiers in training. Cool zones provide a break area for those who are exposed to the debilitating effects of the heat during physical activity. These break areas are specially designed to provide shade from the sun and include devices or items to aid the body in dumping heat. Such devices include camouflage cover or solar shades (see figure E-5), water trailers/tanks, coolers containing water and sports drinks, power breezers/fans and misters (see figure E-6), and the AICS.

But, this depends on establishing your office as a designated recovery area/ cooling zone, which are typically established for training environments and training exercises. And the reg says nothing about oscillating. (But you could go back and forth with that one) Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 10 at 2019 5:48 PM 2019-04-10T17:48:21-04:00 2019-04-10T17:48:21-04:00 2019-04-10T10:47:59-04:00
