The ability to embrace the Suck is a strong trait. Probably comes from having to wear lots of "hats", and constantly having more "stick" than "carrot". Most Soldiers I've known (including my father and father-in-law) are experts in getting through the "suck". Many of the most intelligent and successful people I've known were Airmen.

Marines? Well, I roomed with one at Annapolis, dated a female Marine officer once, and work with one now.
