1st off, congratulations on the degree pursuit, I am getting ready to start my MA for Homeland Security, not sure if I can go higher for that field or not. Good luck.

PhD in biochemistry/cell biology. 7 very long years! I'm guessing my experience may have been a bit different than yours however, because we mainly did on-the-bench research.
