Are there any apartments or houses to rent near Fort Hood that allow dobermans?

It seems every apartment we go to they say no to our dog. On base housing said no too.

you likely wont find any apartments that allow Doberman's due to insurance liability reasons. You will most likely need to look at houses to rent or at worst case, purchase a house.

Unless you're so scared of the area you live in, have a cat. It disgusted me when I saw all of the abandoned dogs running lose on military posts because their owners were too stupid to realize that you don't stay in one place for the life of a dog. Cats are a lot easier to get somebody to adopt when you can't take it with you or get it to your family.

Probably the only way to get around it is to have the dog listed as a service animal
