For pilots it used to be 20/20 to get into pilot training. Navigator/systems operators were 20/40 correctable to 20/20. All of this has probably changed. There's also rules about those who have surgery to have their vision corrected to 20/20.Response by Lt Col Jim Coe made Dec 20 at 2020 1:49 PM2020-12-20T13:49:00-05:002020-12-20T13:49:00-05:00SSG Dale London6596480<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I suspect there probably are. The army requires aircrew to pass a class iii flight physical to remain on flight status and there is a vision element to it -- not as stringent as the class i physical pilots have to pass but higher than the enlistment requirements.Response by SSG Dale London made Dec 20 at 2020 10:27 PM2020-12-20T22:27:25-05:002020-12-20T22:27:25-05:00MSgt Dusty Storms6864174<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The AF has waivers for everything.
