I think it depends really. I also think that RallyPoint has made some great changes to the overall system to at least slow down some people trying to get points. With the addition of "Share a Link" and "Share an Update", we are starting to see a change in the overall experience.

I will say this to you SGT James Sims, if you see a post you feel does not add something to the overall community, tag one of us User Admins (we have a star next to our profile image) and we can review and take action if required.

Its not like you win a prize by getting points. I think this is a great resource. You get a lot of the "its not THE way, it's A way. Hell, we all know there is more than one way to skin a cat. You don't know what you're missing until you hear what works for someone else. Love it

I don't think anyone is into "Getting Points"....most have no idea how many points they have or could probably care less. Although I have seen a few discussions started that were highly partisan when most military are A Political or not that partisan..

I think Rallypoint needs to be a mix. Some serious with some fun. I have enough stress in my life and when I get the sunday paper I read the comics and the sports page. If it is being engaged than it must be something people wish to be apart of. I like helpful articles and some news, but not all hard hitting blood and guts.
