The boots that were recently disallowed either were not tested, or failed safety tests according to DA and DOD standards.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 14 at 2014 3:27 PM2014-12-14T15:27:51-05:002014-12-14T15:27:51-05:00SPC Daniel Edwards371792<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Honestly, a boot is a boot to me. Even when I was a civilian, I couldn't tell the difference. Personally, as long as it is comfortable for the wearer, is everything proof, and at least looks the part, then it should pass.Response by SPC Daniel Edwards made Dec 15 at 2014 10:36 PM2014-12-15T22:36:31-05:002014-12-15T22:36:31-05:00PO1 Rick Serviss372087<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The opposite. I almost s*** my pants when I heard the recruits were given "timeout" cards to wave when they're stressed. If a fire breaks out on the ship, I would like to see the reaction of the skipper if somebody tries handing him or her a timeout card.Response by PO1 Rick Serviss made Dec 16 at 2014 4:52 AM2014-12-16T04:52:48-05:002014-12-16T04:52:48-05:002014-10-18T15:42:02-04:00
