Are SSGs at Camp Humphreys authorized OHA without Dependents?

I will be arriving at Camp Humphreys in Jan and keep hearing some E6's have been able to get housing. My S3 just arrived from Korea and told me they were putting SSG's in housing, though that info is a few months old. I was wandering if anyone has been given the option to live off post or if there are any exception to policy to allow a SSG to live off post. Thank you for the input!

At Humphreys SSG and below live in the barracks. SFC and higher will either live in SLQ (Senior Leader Quarters) or off post if SLQ isn’t available. I hope this helps...

Are you bringing your family? SFC Private RallyPoint Member Answered for unaccompanied SM. Accompanied SM's usually are submitted for on post family housing. If none is available, they then are given permission to move off post. I lived off post from 2016-2018 April.

Well if you are not bringing family you will be in the barracks. There is plenty of barracks space here not sure what other people had going on but with a huge exception, which is hard to get so maybe they were at some of the smaller instillations. Barracks living is where it’s at for you.
