I have also been informed that the award can be put on an ERB but cannot be worn anymore. I have the badge and have worn it since I received the certificate but am now unsure of what is actually authorized. I have checked the regulations but cannot find any hard information. Anyone know and can reference? Are soldiers authorized to wear the Schützenschnur badge ?2016-09-26T06:49:17-04:00SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member1923518<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I have been informed that the Schützenschnur cannot be put on an ERB but you can wear it. I learned at your rank that it's best to start looking things like this up yourself, because your Soldier's will be trusting your word, not the PAC / HRC clerk or barracks lawyer word. Sorry for being blunt, but you will appreciate the advice someday. Ask the HRC NCOIC what reg covers the areas that you need to clarify. It is no longer placed on the ERB, however is dropped in the OMPF via IPERMS. Your commander (I had to have the first General Officer in my CoC) will have to sign a MFR, attach the award certificate to the MFR, have your S-1 upload it, good to go. I literally had mine completed and uploaded within three hours today.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 15 at 2017 12:23 PM2017-11-15T12:23:29-05:002017-11-15T12:23:29-05:002016-09-26T06:49:17-04:00
