Are new AGRs authorized a pay advance? The HRC long distance in-processing website suggests they are, but where is the regulatory guidance?

After some additional research I found DODFMR, Vol. 7A, chapter 32 and AR 37-104-4 provide the regulatory guidance. From my readings of the regulations, I believe a new AGR would be entitled to a pay advance based off of Table 32-1. Advance Payments—Eligibility and Amounts Payable Rule 1 in the DODFMR.

The Regulation about the Pay is NGR 37-104-3 will pretty much explain how it works and what you have to do.

Yes, your S-1 can submit the paperwork for you when you in process your battalion.
