Christopher K 3759158 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My recruiter has been what feels like stalling in the progress of getting me medically cleared. He says he is attempting to secure me an appointment to get examined and then cleared. But it&#39;s been several weeks since he said that he was doing that. Does it really take that long to secure that type of appointment? Are MEPS appointments difficult to get? 2018-07-01T17:24:22-04:00 Christopher K 3759158 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My recruiter has been what feels like stalling in the progress of getting me medically cleared. If it’s for a consultation for a medical issues you would need a waiver for. It can take a couple of weeks for MEPS to get it scheduled. But it&#39;s been around 3 weeks since he said he was trying to get an appointment. His reason so far is that there are other people he&#39;s trying to get appointments for as well. MEPS schedules it. Your recruiter has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately MEPS is its own beast and we have to wait on them. If he is contacting them and they are telling him you are waiting for your turn. Then there is nothing you can do but wait till MEPS gets it scheduled. When they do they will notify your recruiter. I know it’s frustrating just waiting for the word but hang in there it’ll come. Don’t get discouraged. I just spent 3 months waiting for MEPS to notify me that I could schedule a kid. Every time he asked I could only tell him I’m still waiting because we don’t get any info up until they say good to go.
