SPC Private RallyPoint Member 2136667 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am trying to figure out if IUDs are allowed at BMT or if I&#39;ll have to have mine removed before I leave. I haven&#39;t been able to really find anything about it. Does anyone know if they are or if I&#39;ll need to change my birth control? Thanks in advance! Are IUDs allowed at Air Force BMT, or do I have to have mine removed before I leave? 2016-12-06T10:03:07-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 2136667 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am trying to figure out if IUDs are allowed at BMT or if I&#39;ll have to have mine removed before I leave. It&#39;s been my understanding that an IUD is placed, and then left alone until the woman wants to get pregnant. Army Basic Training is 9 weeks long. It shouldn&#39;t even be a factor. In which service are you enlisting? They are vested in your shipping on time and without hassle.. You getting turned away at reception when &quot; The IUD&quot; question is asked (not really a question, but if it was an issue it would be asked..get the point) Response by SGM Erik Marquez made Dec 6 at 2016 10:16 PM 2016-12-06T22:16:49-05:00 2016-12-06T22:16:49-05:00 Private RallyPoint Member 2275881 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I enlisted into the Army, I let them know at Meps that I had an IUD. What they are looking for is if you have been having irregularities with period or issues with the IUD. Definitely check with recruiter.
