Will be going this summer , most likely satellite. Thanks for the feedback! Are iPads/tablets helpful in ILE or are they not allowed in the classrooom? Looking for best medium to read doctrine/assigned readings. 2017-01-14T12:40:07-05:00 CPT Private RallyPoint Member 2248273 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not a fan of reading in front a computer, but don&#39;t want a tablet to be a paperweight either if the readings can&#39;t be loaded and/or brought to class. Many of you know, if you don&#39;t log into your network at your Army Reserve Center once a month you are blocked you can&#39;t use the copier that is in your Army Reserve Center. Leave nothing to chance you may think you have the final draft of your paper on Operation Torch and you found out you screwed up on something and you need it need to reprint it after making Corrections. Bring a laptop also bring a memory stick. Make sure you have a smartphone that is hooked up for a hotspot that way you can download the latest from the Blackboard. Most likely, many of your students will have their smartphone as a hotspot so if you need to log into the Fort Leavenworth Blackboard you can get whatever lesson you&#39;re missing. I preferred my iPad over my laptop. OneNote was my go to app of choice so I could synchronize with my laptop to work anywhere after class. If you are buying new, I&#39;d really look at a Surface tablet over the Ipad. Running Windows and CAC enabled logon seemed like it was a real advantage over my iPad and keyboard.
