Every person has a price, for most people that price is very low. Corporations could likely just buy people out of their loyalties to the government.

Besides most people in this country are not loyal to the government, but to a particular party. So they are loyal to the government if "their" party is in power. and spouting that "descent is the highest form of loyalty" when they are not in power.

Short answer: Yes, and without resorting to misinformation.

Um Buddy! My old job Electronic and Information Warfare to include OPDEC, Operational Deception. I grew in my field in the Heyday of Radio Moscow and Voice of America (Both were a load of crap).
