Anyone who leaves active duty military and then decides to enlist or reenlist active duty in their original military service or another military service should just be glad that they were fortunate enough to have kept themselves qualified , i.e. medical, moral, physical fitness, criminal, etc. So much can happen in an instant to eliminate/disqualify someone from reentering the military. If you are given options for your contract great! But keep a mindset of I'm glad that I could get back in and that they they didn't have to let me back in. If the timing was different they might not have let you back in. I sincerely wish you all the best in your Army career.
