My first MOS I was a 12K and while I enjoyed the schooling, I didn't get to do any plumbing projects until deployment. Simply because of regulations and standards in the US prohibiting us from doing any plumber work without a civilian journeyman. I cross trained to do a lot of carpentry and masonry state side and that was a really great skill set to have all of those skills combined.

I love it i have been doing it since i left active duty in 2013. I have learned a lot of plumbing and carpentry skills along with going to el salvador, belize and next year honduras for AT and building schools and clinics for them
