Are anonymous ex military intelligence folks learning their skills in the Military?2015-11-08T22:30:35-05:002015-11-08T22:30:35-05:00CSM Carl Cunningham1096280<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am not sure they learned them while in the military. If they did, it would be on their own time. The Cyber MOS's are fairly new and some of the more advanced stuff they would have learned would have only be used by a small group of people. That combined with the assessment and selection process used to hire people that will use these skills, I feel they may not be the same type of person that joins anonymous.Response by CSM Carl Cunningham made Nov 8 at 2015 11:23 PM2015-11-08T23:23:14-05:002015-11-08T23:23:14-05:00SCPO Joshua I1096462<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No.Response by SCPO Joshua I made Nov 9 at 2015 3:10 AM2015-11-09T03:10:38-05:002015-11-09T03:10:38-05:00PO1 Brian Carlson1097118<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would not be surprised to find out that Anonymous has members from the military. Anonymous and Military Intelligence do have a lot in common. Anonymous my have better security than our government. I'm not reading in the news that Anonymous is leaving sensitive information on unprotected computers.Response by PO1 Brian Carlson made Nov 9 at 2015 11:50 AM2015-11-09T11:50:18-05:002015-11-09T11:50:18-05:00PO1 John Miller1098273<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><br />I don't necessarily think they "learned" their skills in the military, but odds are some Anonymous members have a military background. I wouldn't be surprised if those members have an IT or cryptological background.Response by PO1 John Miller made Nov 9 at 2015 9:43 PM2015-11-09T21:43:44-05:002015-11-09T21:43:44-05:00PO2 Erik Martensen1098743<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I started to write a pretty extensive answer to this question, but I realized that this just isn't the right place to ask it, and it certainly isn't the place for a comprehensive answer. <br /><br />The short answer is: Probably not, but maybe a little.Response by PO2 Erik Martensen made Nov 10 at 2015 5:17 AM2015-11-10T05:17:59-05:002015-11-10T05:17:59-05:00PO1 Glenn Boucher1099961<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Its possible that some served a 4 year term and decided to get out after being disillusioned with military service. And maybe they feel like they are doing some good being part of Anonymous. I disagree with the masks though as it makes them appear more criminal like.Response by PO1 Glenn Boucher made Nov 10 at 2015 2:14 PM2015-11-10T14:14:01-05:002015-11-10T14:14:01-05:00CPO David Sharp1103512<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Pretty much 100% odds.
