First recruiter told me to get reckt, found another that really saw value in what I’ve chosen to specialize in and pushed the issue; I had a waiver approved and in hand in a matter of days. Really depends on your recruiter and the reason behind your code, as well as how well your personal statement explains said behaviour and how you plan to/have rectified it. It also certainly helps if you’ve spent your civilian time bettering yourself... all of this on top of how specialized your training is and how in-need of your MOS whatever branch your choosing is.
