Anyone worked with a lender that would finance an older boat?

My wife and I are trying to buy a used older Hatteras 53' cabin cruiser to move to full time. We want to try to buy the boat before selling our house, but can't find a lender willing to work with us. I opened accounts with USAA after being assured they were willing to do this, then spent over an hour and 5 different transfers being told "I was 'misinformed'" by the CSR I spoke with originally. So we have the perfect boat - punches all the checklist needs for us to start out - and unless we sell our house we're stuck. We have plenty of equity in the house but can't use it against the boat according to the banks because it's not 100% paid off.

I don'y know were you can get help. But I can say USAA drop me like a rock when I had to a bankruptcy. Will never work with them again. Try Navy Federal credit union they may do it.
