Anyone use ride-sharing apps to get back and forth from work and home if stationed on an installation?

I read an article the other day about getting ride of your car and use ridesharing and it made me think: how many military people use Lyft or Uber on a military base? Is this even feasible? I guess it could be since all the driver needs is the new US approved ID. Anyone out there use ride-sharing apps to get back and forth from work and home if stationed on an installation? Do you find it easy and economical?

I actually drive for Lyft. Plenty of people on base use them. Problem with a SM depending on them is that if the service is busy and they have a hit time, it might not work out for them. Most the drivers just get a pass for base which are usually good for 3 months ish and they can come and go easily.
