I picked up a Stoeger MK3 for $650 at Pro Bass. I&#39;ll be replacing the extractor with a Benelli extractor ($10) as well trigger/hammer springs to reduce the 9lb pull to a 2lb pull ($15). I might do some port work - not sure just yet but so far happy with the purchase. Not quite a Bennelli - but not an empty wallet either. <br /><br />In looking at upgrading my shotguns I&#39;ve been looking at some of the shotguns coming out of Turkey - in particular the Panzer Gen 3 AR 12 semi-auto. As such I&#39;m looking for any feedback on these type of platforms in particular Turkish shotguns in general. The Panzer is crazy cheap - under $400 and from what I&#39;ve seen online it looks promising. Other shotguns in the mix are the Mossberg 500 ATI ($588) $$ and the tried and true Benelli M4 $$$$ ($1700). Anyone on RP own an AR 12 gauge they'd recommend? 2019-10-07T11:03:58-04:00 SPC David S. 5099548 <div class="images-v2-count-2"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-376051"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image"> <a href='https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rallypoint.com%2Fanswers%2Fanyone-on-rp-own-an-ar-12-gauge-they-d-recommend%3Futm_source%3DFacebook%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_campaign%3DShare%20to%20facebook' target="_blank" class='social-share-button facebook-share-button'><i class="fa fa-facebook-f"></i></a> <a href="https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?text=Anyone+on+RP+own+an+AR+12+gauge+they%27d+recommend%3F&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rallypoint.com%2Fanswers%2Fanyone-on-rp-own-an-ar-12-gauge-they-d-recommend&amp;via=RallyPoint" target="_blank" class="social-share-button twitter-custom-share-button"><i class="fa fa-twitter"></i></a> <a href="mailto:?subject=Check this out on RallyPoint!&body=Hi, I thought you would find this interesting:%0D%0AAnyone on RP own an AR 12 gauge they&#39;d recommend?%0D%0A %0D%0AHere is the link: https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/anyone-on-rp-own-an-ar-12-gauge-they-d-recommend" target="_blank" class="social-share-button email-share-button"><i class="fa fa-envelope"></i></a> </div> <a class="fancybox" rel="5ba90c667ce3845c315cd07280da4123" href="https://d1ndsj6b8hkqu9.cloudfront.net/pictures/images/000/376/051/for_gallery_v2/68e3e419.jpg"><img src="https://d1ndsj6b8hkqu9.cloudfront.net/pictures/images/000/376/051/large_v3/68e3e419.jpg" alt="68e3e419" /></a></div><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-2" id="image-385601"><a class="fancybox" rel="5ba90c667ce3845c315cd07280da4123" href="https://d1ndsj6b8hkqu9.cloudfront.net/pictures/images/000/385/601/for_gallery_v2/3e5359b9.png"><img src="https://d1ndsj6b8hkqu9.cloudfront.net/pictures/images/000/385/601/thumb_v2/3e5359b9.png" alt="3e5359b9" /></a></div></div>UPDATE - I went Turkish but not a box fed and with a well known brand (able to get parts to fix it went I break it). Don&#39;t own one...but I&#39;ve seen other &quot;semi-auto&quot;, mag-fed shotguns have issues...probably related to gas system. I&#39;ve also seen significant performance variations depending on ammo selection. The new stuff is better as it doesn&#39;t involve a rotating magazine which brings back Lewis Gun memories. For the most part, you get what you pay for. I&#39;m retired so my KSG with 00 Buck on one side and slugs on the other meets my needs. Ask the 360 pound bear that used to knock off chicken coops. Mountain lions don&#39;t like them either.
