Anyone Miss the good old M35 Deuce and a half? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/anyone-miss-the-good-old-m35-deuce-and-a-half

I have fond memories of this truck.
Learned to drve a stick on it. Could pull from a dead stop in 3rd. It could go through and over any thing. A non mechanic coud work on it. Some models hou could urinate in the fuel tank and it run. You couldnt flip it. Interchangeable parts. Rock solid engine. Easy to get going again after sitting for years. Solid axels. Many other things to list but will stop there.
Too many issues with the 900 series and I wont get into that LMTV Turd (Electronic pushbutton transmission, ugggg). Nothing seemed to have its capability since. Many are still on the road today and some units still use them.
Or is it just me?
Anyone have a good memory of one you used?
Im listening!
