They may be able to find the orders or find other supporting documentation that may assist. No. Keep 10 copies. Better yet, make sure that you also have a digital copy in case your crazy ex-wife decides to set your house on fire. Michelle Woods 52415 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not sure if this was already mentioned but both of my deployment orders had our entire deployment roster with names and SS#s of everyone who deployed. I suggest asking someone from your unit if they have a copy. <div><br></div><div>Side note: keeping 10 paper copies of everything is great but you can have an immediate digital copy by snapping a pic of your document, then just email it to yourself. See if you can get into contact with his old Units S1. the one he deployed with and or look up his old units prior deployment dates. when you do reach them request documents on said prior deployment. If they give you a run around ask to talk to the S1 ADJ, he/she tends to be willing to work with some one calling and asking for information.  From there verify they were deployed during said times. <div><br></div><div>Units are required to keep records for a certain amount of time. I am not sure when he deployed but I would assume it was at least three to four years ago. Not the first time a Soldier or NCO has had to get creative on showing deployment proof. If the S1 is stonewalling the Soldier then send them up to the next level S1. His orders should be under TCS/DeploymentMob section. If they aren't there not sure where else to look at this point.
