These programs---Drill Sergeant, for example, or the range of other special duty or broadening programs, are designed to benefit the whole Army, are DA-level processes, so why should the parochial, small-minded interests of one Branch give that Branch a veto over a higher level process. Let folks compete, and let the selection boards choose the best candidates.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made May 26 at 2016 11:56 AM2016-05-26T11:56:08-04:002016-05-26T11:56:08-04:00SFC Bill Schmitz1595893<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Submit a DA form 4187 at PAC with attached recommendations.Response by SFC Bill Schmitz made Jun 4 at 2016 5:02 PM2016-06-04T17:02:48-04:002016-06-04T17:02:48-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member1848668<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We don't go through Branch in the Reserves. Getting Drill Sergeant school and recruiter and things like that in the Reserves is not difficult at all as long as you meet requirements and join the proper unit.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 30 at 2016 10:22 AM2016-08-30T10:22:58-04:002016-08-30T10:22:58-04:001SG(P) Private RallyPoint Member1850602<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>contact the Drill Branch and let them know your are intrested for this duty.
