Anyone know how to get a DA Photo done quickly?

I live around fort hood and our DA Photo place is by appointment and is backed up.

That is basically the only option for a DA photo. Unless you're given permission to find a photographer who can take the exact photos with the proper background and stances

Your only option it seems is to either go through the website to schedule one, which you said they were backed up with appointments. Call the photo lab and see if they can squeeze you in by chance. Check back regularly to see if there's been any cancellations. Another option would be to see if for Sam Houston has available spots, if you'd be willing to make the drive. The photo lab has to take your photo to submit into DAPMIS in order for it to be valid. Your other option is to ask your BDE S-1 to see if there are any alternatives. Good luck man.

Go to the lab and talk to the folks managing the schedule. Sometimes they have a few unpublished openings for boards and other no-notice requirements.

The National Guard Armories can also do official photos, usually with a quick turn around time.

1SG Private RallyPoint Member When I was stationed at Fort Hood, ran into the same issue. I went one day and basically sat all day there until they could squeeze me in when someone did not show up. If not, I would suggest driving to the nearest military installation like other RP members already suggested.

You'd have to go to the visual website & call them they normally can get you in quicker if you call back daily to see if someone cancelled just like readiness appointment.

Call Camp Mabry; when I called they tried to get me in that day. They also do a great job. I prefer going there even when I'm not in a hurry.
