My dad is writing an article on the 147 infantry regiment (RCT) and their time on Iwo Jima and is looking for pictures of the battle. If anyone can reach out, it'd be appreciated.

SSgt Private RallyPoint Member - I can reach out to some contacts and see if I can link you up with someone. But I do know there is a Veterans Hall of Fame in Columbus, OH. If you google it there is a website with contact information, they may be able to assist. There is also a Facebook page 'Det. 1 A Company 1/147th Infantry' that is for a specific company of the 147th. If I find anything I will respond back. Best of Luck!
