If my divorce, there was a provision that neither party could move the children outside the sate without the others express consent. That was a good thing for the children.

SFC Osvaldo Vazquez Any judge that would throw you in the klink for following military orders isn't going to keep his job for long. Hook up with JAG imo and explain the situation. They've probably seen it, and know how to deal with it. My guess is it's nothing more than a phone call from them to the Judge's clerk.

I've had some folks who work with/for me have this happen. It's hard to deal with and you should be able to work with detailers (Navy term) for when your orders are written to stay within the area.

In the event you can't you may end up having to go back to court, but likely, the court order is a small court that will be over-ridden.

Time with my kids is more important to me than the retiernment.
