When you go to your profile on AKO there are badges that you can earn. I just tried getting the "Hunt" badge but, no luck. I think AKO has the potential to be so much more. If RallyPoint could get a contract with AKO that would be exciting. Any thoughts?Anyone ever try to get the badges on AKO?2014-06-15T20:28:58-04:001SG Private RallyPoint Member155086<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Anyone ever try to get the badges on AKO? I'll take a look into those. Are they worth promotion points? If AKO and RallyPoint got a contract together, I think there would definitely be a lot more people on here and it would make this a more legitimate thing. I think it would be very beneficial to both sites.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 16 at 2014 6:20 PM2014-06-16T18:20:51-04:002014-06-16T18:20:51-04:00SSG Robert Burns194660<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have a hard enough time keeping up with my password that changes every other day.Response by SSG Robert Burns made Aug 5 at 2014 10:38 AM2014-08-05T10:38:10-04:002014-08-05T10:38:10-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member194668<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There are badges on AKO?Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 5 at 2014 10:54 AM2014-08-05T10:54:26-04:002014-08-05T10:54:26-04:00SGT Ben Keen194845<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think of the benefits RallyPoint has is it's separation from any sort of official back of any of the branches. I think integrating RallyPoint in something like AKO would do more harm then good because then RallyPoint would have to take on AKO's access standard. As a Veteran, I don't have access to AKO. I would hate to lose my access to this great community as well.Response by SGT Ben Keen made Aug 5 at 2014 2:23 PM2014-08-05T14:23:36-04:002014-08-05T14:23:36-04:00SSG Ed Mikus195406<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>AKO is a great platform there is just too much on it, by that i mean too many connections to too many other platforms. the queries into all of your other records makes the entire system so increadbly slow it is something i shy away from. I also do not like their database structure, i think it is a bad choice for the amount of people on it. <br />to get a good feel for what im talking about try out AKOS, it is fast, sleek, and smooth! sams software, same platform, fewer users, less data, less connections. <br /><br />with that said, if they change the backend of AKO i would be willing to spend more time on there and mess with the badges, but the way it is i wont. I messed with all that stuff when AKO was newer, back in 99 it was fast and fun, now it is uesfull but slow.Response by SSG Ed Mikus made Aug 6 at 2014 1:27 AM2014-08-06T01:27:28-04:002014-08-06T01:27:28-04:00CPT Gary Martin1797171<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Just got the badge for Hunt I Level 3. Started working on Hunt II today. It was very frustrating at first, but, you have to have a sense of humor and a little creativity to get through it. Once you get the feel for it, it get's easier.Response by CPT Gary Martin made Aug 11 at 2016 11:42 AM2016-08-11T11:42:40-04:002016-08-11T11:42:40-04:002014-06-15T20:28:58-04:00
