Anyone ever stay at the Shades of Green hotel at Disney?

If you have how was it and what was required to stay at that property? If you're not familiar, Shades of Green is a DoD facility at Disney in Orlando.

That should explain what you need. I never heard of that til now and I just went to Disney World in June for my daughter's wish through Make a Wish.

I will stay there in January whilst visiting the seventh layer of hell. Snagged reservations a year out.

I have never statyed there because I couldn't get reservations for the times I was available to go so we stayed at the allstar resorts a couple of times and the coronado springs and it was pretty cheap with military discounts etc. However, we went over to the shades of green to meet up with some friends one night and it was nice. The only thing I have heard negative about it is the transportation. All of the Disney resorts and hotels have transportation anywhere...at Shades of Green you have to take a bus to get to the other transportation hubs to get to the Disney destinations.

There are also four other resorts operated by the AFRC.

Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany
Dragon Hill Lodge in Seoul, Korea;
Hale Koa Hotel in Fort DeRussy, Hawaii
New Sanno Hotel in Tokyo, Japan
