I have seen people get over the reason that got the P2 and get it changed, I wouldn't think anything wrong with getting it back if they re injure themselves. Now that the regs allow for an APFT with a temporary profile, there will probably be less people with legitimate problems seeking permanent profiles. Sure.
Show cause it was assigned erroneously.
Show proof the condition has relieved itself (Lower back pain, not specific to an observable injury.... or Hearing loss, that somehow recovers )

I can only guess,,, but the P2 is in someway restricting this SM from doing something they are wanting to do now...Yes?
If true and the P2 is valid, Id suggest that SM take the long view..there will be life after service...and it is unforgiving, and cares not that you "sucked it up" while you serve,, No excuses later....its do or dont do.
