Anyone else running windows 10? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/anyone-else-running-windows-10

I'm running windows 10, build 10310, I don't know if I'm just lucky but I got it installed with only one hiccup that I was able to solve. I like it, its a good hybrid of windows 7 and windows 8.1. What pisses me off is I spent $20.00 to buy the add on to add the start button back in and Win 10 adds it back in. Well at least they listened to consumers.

Win 8 was geared too much towards touch screens and apps and large companies are far from ready to go there yet. The company I work for is still in the process of migrating to win 7 yet our CIO was recognized in the top 100 circle - huh?? I do think they need less releases besides every other one being a failure many changes could have been done with patches.

anyway, windows 10 is intended to be the final step in moving all Microsoft operating systems onto one kernel/platform which will help compatibility between differing systems and aid programmers a lot, but i foresee lots of bugs and security issues in that approach. my cell phone and desktop cannot handle the same level of stuff, i am concerned about them wearing the same operating system. I love it so far; that said, I wonder about the new license model, and the one-size-fits-all approach. From a security or even a performance standpoint, I can see some bumps ahead....
