I went to the launch party of windows 95 and 98, I went oooh aww upgrading a server from NT 3.51 to 4.0. I got windows 10 cause its cool. First time I saw a Pentium processor work back in the day it was sweet. I had an RGB monitor vs my friends Hercules one and I thought I was so cool. Use to make low density disks high density even if they only lasted a little while. I ran two BBses at the same time, my own and the one at my high school. I was an avionics tech in the Air Force, but my first job after separating was testing mini-mainframes coming off the assembly line at NCR. That was in 1988, I started my own company in 1992. At the time I was working field service. The company was billing me out at $125 per hour and paying me $12. I figured I could charge $40, give the customers a huge discount, and get a big raise. I should have started out charging more, but live and learn.<br />I spent a lot of sleepless nights reading, tearing down machines, and installing network server OSs. It's been a fun and profitable ride from Unix, VMS and ULTRIX to DOS, NetWare, and Windows, to virtual machines and hybrid cloud configuration.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you want to really geek out, build a a VM Ware server with 64GB of Ram, create several virtual machines with multiple OSs, create virtual networks, and try to hack it all or create the ultimate gaming machine.
