Just be prepared to learn more about your job at your location that at AIT.

AIT is pretty much a joke nowadays. It just gets your feet wet, where as when you get to your unit you are jumping into the deep end of the pool most of the time.

That depends. What do you want to know and what specific organization are you curious about serving in? Are you on orders to Fort Hood now and trying to get a sense of what to expect?

I'm in AIT for 25S right now. Last I checked, active for six years would grab you a $40,000 signing bonus. Its a relatively easy MOS. It covers Routers, MIDAS, Promina (Hopefully to be removed from the instruction,) Basic electronics, satellites with RF and Modulation theories. Message me for any more info about the AIT.

Its pretty good you will probably be going to the 57th ESB, those guys are great i served with them for 5 years, its alot of training and class time, cause not only do you have to keep up on the satcom side but the soldier side, just dont negelect your physical fitness its a bad habit for signal guys, as far as the 25s series lots of time is spent with your team, so its imperative to get along, the inspections for inventory take forever
