I don’t think the home association will approve solar panels. Tesla has come out with some but I hear there is a long wait list. I have see that there are other shingle options. Anybody have experience with solar shingles? 2018-04-04T00:08:42-04:00 COL Private RallyPoint Member 3510409 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>After the last few storms, snow and wind, we are needing to replace our roof. I would be very excited to see these on the market and be an affordable option to steel or even asphalt! I understand they pay off greatly in the long run. I&#39;m not sure if the other options would be able to also tie into Tesla&#39;s home battery option(powerwall) as well.<br /><br />Also to hell with HOA&#39;s. I&#39;ve heard mixed reviews about other options, but it really depends on your specific needs and budget. Have you considered reaching out to local solar panel installers ireland(<a target="_blank" href="https://solarsmart.ie">https://solarsmart.ie</a>) ? They might have some insights on alternative solar shingle brands or even other innovative solutions that could work for you. Getting advice from folks who know the area well can be super helpful in navigating any home association rules or regulations. <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made May 2 at 2024 12:57 AM 2024-05-02T00:57:57-04:00 2024-05-02T00:57:57-04:00 2018-04-04T00:08:42-04:00
