They are the ones that make the unit what it is. Even Soldiers in a good command climate with quality people they enjoy working with will eventually stagnate. I&#39;ve had great 1SGs in my career but never any that would make me stay in the unit if they stayed. I did have one CSM that I would absolutely stay for. <br /><br />As far as CPTs, not sure if it was because he was so good, but I had a CPT that I would like to serve with again.
