Anybody ever get tired of asking you if "there's an Area 51"?

I myself got asked that question more than a few times in my career.. I always told them truthfully.. Yes there is an Installation at Groom Lake. No, I have never been there and No I don't know all that they do there.

No one has ever asked me about it but it's existence is undeniable, it's visible clear as day on Google Earth. As for it being closed, to my knowledge it's still operating and there is still flights out of Vegas for it for employees. They maybe don't have as much secret squirrel flying going on anymore but they still do something out there.

I spent a lot of time at the Nevada Test Site in late 80s and early 90s. There is some really cool stuff out there, but most of it is sand and bad roads. Mercury (the "FOB") was a miserable shithole to stay at.

I used to be asked alot if there were any aliens at Area 51. I usually just told them, "Nah. They're all naturalized citizens now."
