Last year that same board announced its results in three months, which is the normal timeframe. As I write this on September 14, 2015 HRC has still not released the board results.

Its not that I'm impatient (well, that is part of it), but there are consequences to late announcement. First and most important to me is the simple fact that resident ILE Phase 1 was offered in September, and because I was not yet "promotable" I could not register. As an old-school officer who despises DL (Distance Learning), the delay in release of board results means that I have to wait a full year to start ILE, which has an 18 month maximum for completion and only offers resident phase 1 and phase 3 (with 10 months of drill status for phase 2) once per year.

Come on HRC, we senior captains have done our part. Six months to review board is a bit much.Any word on the Army Reserve APL Major Promotion Board?2015-09-14T14:19:37-04:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member964980

The Army Reserve Component APL selection board for Major convened on March 9, 2015. I was told that there was delay and it may come out in Oct...but it was also supposed to come out in Aug, and then again in Sep. Somebody's desk is piling up with stuff.Response by CW3 Kevin Storm made Sep 14 at 2015 2:32 PM2015-09-14T14:32:43-04:002015-09-14T14:32:43-04:00COL Vincent Stoneking966621

I don't know what the issues at HRC are (and won't share my inappropriate speculations), but I will point out that they finally released the COL list in June and the LTC list just recently, so the MAJ list (which depends in part on the number of MAJ-LTC promotions) should be coming soon. How soon that is is a different question...

As for the ILE, I did the DL course and taught the 2-10-2 course. 2-10-2 is definitely the way to go. Double-check with your local ILE BN, there are often more iterations of phase 1 and 3 than you might expect.Response by COL Vincent Stoneking made Sep 15 at 2015 10:09 AM2015-09-15T10:09:42-04:002015-09-15T10:09:42-04:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member1012525

JUST IN:
U.S. Army Human Resources Command

5 hrs · Edited ·
.
At 0730 October 15, 2015, the results of the FY15 MAJ Army Promotion List, Army Reserve, Active Guard Reserve, Army Reserve Non-Active Guard reserve and Army National Guard competitive categories, Promotion Selection Boards will be released.
https://www.hrc.army.mil/Milper/15-302 (AKO or CAC login required)
#FY_RC_NG_15MajorPSBResponse by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 2 at 2015 8:30 PM2015-10-02T20:30:40-04:002015-10-02T20:30:40-04:002015-09-14T14:19:37-04:00
