Any Psychologists or Social Workers looking to be a part of a Reserve Combat Engineer Brigade? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/any-psychologists-or-social-workers-looking-to-be-a-part-of-a-reserve-combat-engineer-brigade <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a 68X in the HHC element of the 411th EN BDE (Reserves) out in New Windsor, NY. We currently have two slots for 67D (Behavioral Health Sciences), thus we can take anyone who is a 73A or 73B. If you are looking to make the jump away from the COSC or Medcom world and be in an operational and functional unit, I would love to help facilitate this. (ie part of the 40 ID in the Cal National Guard) as opposed to being in a hospital type unit. You are closer to the troops, and in a hospital environment it gets more &quot;cliquish&quot; and bureaucratic. I learned later in may career why most soldiers (including officers) prefer to be in operational field units rather than headquarters units despite being more prone to deployment and more intensive training. Leadership in those units focus more on the job and teamwork.
