Big Buffalo Bandits (of the NLL) fan. Watch the games online every week. Any other lax players/fans on RP? Have you found an adult league near your post/base? Any other current or former lacrosse players out there? 2016-04-19T08:23:36-04:00 CPT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 1462903

Love the sport. I am the lead for communications for the Rutgers Letterwinners Association now. Play sparingly, mainly helping my daughter's team as a volunteer assistant. VERY different game.

Managed to get a pick-up league started in Balad circa 2008...someone there prior to me had managed to get a pair of goals shipped over; my alma mater donated a bunch of equipment for us to use in country. I wonder what the Iraqis think of it. In hindsight, I wish I'd given it more serious consideration in choosing a college. I played goalie. I have always gone under the theory, if it has a goal, I can protect it. Soccer, Hockey, Lacrosse didn't matter. Crazy times. I actually loved getting hit when shots were taken. It meant I had just done my job, and stopped the attacker from doing his. Now we have a MLL team in my area the Florida Launch so I can even go see professional lacrosse games when they are in town.
