That unit turned me into an alcoholic. With that said, you will make some good friends, and living in Colorado is great. The new barracks are nice too.

Yes. The unit is good overall. Our recommendation is to visit https://www.carson.army.mil/contact.html, find the staff duty number for 3-61 and connect with the unit directly.

Furthermore, the comments within this section are going to be accurate to the extent of experiences by Soldiers who have been part of 3-61 CAV in the 4th ID.
