One - move to somewhere that is always out of the water, like Tibet. Two - grow gills. With all the advances in genetics and genetic engineering scientists should be able to develop a workable gill solution sometime in the next couple of hundred years. The problem with this solution is the islands don’t have a couple of hundred years because by then they will all be covered with sea water and be well on their way to becoming reefs. So I guess the solution is pack your bags, boys and girls, because it’s time to hit the road.
